Each tree counts – save one today
The students of HIE happily celebrated the festival of trees with an opportunity to connect with nature and also learn about the significance of planting trees. Van Mahotsav emphasis that it is the duty of every citizen of the nation to take a pledge to be part of this green movement. Students dressed in green, entertained with a colourful dance performance to honour mother nature.
Let us all work together to plant more saplings and create an awareness to make the environment greener.

Grades 7 & 8 INTER - CLASS COMPETITIONS

The Inter- Class competitions for Grades VII & VIII  was conducted at the Hyderabad Institute of Excellence High School, students participated with full zeal and enthusiasm. ‘ Digital Detox’ was the topic for the Poster Making Competition for Grade VII.  ‘Living in a world without Gadgets’ was the topic for the Essay Writing Competition for Grade VIII.

The Inter- Class competitions for Grades 5 & 6 was conducted at the Hyderabad Institute of Excellence High School, students participated with full zeal and enthusiasm. To enhance fluency and have a strong word bank, Dictation in HIndi / Telugu was conducted for Grade V. For Grade VI, the topic was Incredible India and  crossword puzzle on the topic was done by students.

To enhance fluency and have a strong word bank, Dictation was conducted for Grade III and Recitation ( Individual) in Hindi & Telugu for Grade IV was conducted.  

International Olympic Day

The International Olympic Day is celebrated on June 23 every year across the world to honour the sprit of sports and Olympic spirit.
 
With this year’s theme “Let’s Move”, the students of Hyderabad Institute of Excellence celebrated this day in the special assembly. The history of the Olympics and the importance of this year’s theme was narrated in the assembly. The importance of sports on physical and mental well bring for children along the Olympic values of excellence, friendship and respect was emphasized. 
 
 For all sports lovers and fans of the International Olympic, the Olympic Day is a moment of pride and reflection.

Yoga Day

The International Day of Yoga was observed at the Hyderabad Institute of Excellence High School on 21st June, 2025 with the theme- ‘Yoga for one Earth, One Health’aligning yoga with sustainability and global well-being for 2025. 
 
Students of Grade 7 displayed various mudras and highlighted their importance for overall physical and mental health. 
The importance of yoga in our daily lives for all ages was demonstrated through various asanas. The students from Grade I-X participated in this special event. 
 
Physical wellbeing, mental wellness and emotional resilience can be achieved through regular practice of yoga. 

World Music Day

The World Music Day was celebrated on 21st June, 2025 ( Saturday) at the Hyderabad Institute of Excellence. The budding musicians from Grades 7 -10 displayed their musical skills and mesmerized the gathering. The teachers spoke about why 21st June is celebrated as the World Music Day and emphasized the importance of music in our daily lives. Tributes were offered to the great musical legends across the globe by teachers and students.
 
Where words fail, music heals.. both the body and the soul!! May our lives be filled with the melody and vibrancy of music !!

Boarding @ Hyderabad Institute of Excellence High School

The boarding students were given a warm welcome on 12th June, 2025 as they walked into the campus with dreams, aspirations, excitement and a bit of nervousness. Boarding at HIE comprises students from Grades VI-X  who are  from different parts of the country and a few from abroad. Students are engaged in productive learning formats giving a scope to groom their personality making it holistic.

Back to School !!

12th June, 2025 marked the beginning of yet another exciting academic session as school re-opened for the students of Hyderabad Institute of Excellence High School. The silent school corridors became vibrant as students got into the campus fully charged, excited and rejuvenated.

Independence Day Celebrations 2024-25

Independence Day Vibes! With a day of pure patriotism and celebration, HIE came alive with vibrant, colourful performances and paid tributes to India’s incredible journey to freedom.
The programme kicked off with a dazzling welcome dance by our little stars, followed by speech, Hindi and English recitation and inter-house dance and music competitions which was a true celebration of India’s unity in diversity. Our
Principal Mrs. Veena Murthy, shared her wisdom saying that students should take a pledge to be responsible citizens and contribute to the nation’s growth. Students as soldiers performed the Kargil Dance followed by fun Puppet Dance.
The program wrapped up with a warm vote of thanks, and thus completed the spirit of freedom. Jai Hind!

Investiture Ceremony 2024

To create leaders of future Hyderabad Institute of Excellence conducted its much awaited investiture ceremony, vesting upon different responsibilities to students with exceptional qualities. In the auspicious presence of the HIE Director, Mr. Hyder Ali Sir, who graced this event as a Chief Guest, honoured Vivek Goud as the Headboy and Unnati sai as the Headgirl of the school. He also vested the responsibilities to the heads of Sports, Discipline, Cultural Activities, and the four Houses of the school – Kite, Falcon, Eagle and Hawk.

Other dignitaries whose presence lit up the ceremony was Mr.Kamlakar, the Academic Head of HIE Junior College, and Mrs. Veena Murthy, the Principal of HIE.
To add colours to the event was the cultural dance performance by students on national unity. Also the choir mesmerised the audience with their song, ‘Itni Shakti Hame Dena Data’.
Every year students are designated to head various responsibilities in schools. By investiture ceremony students are formally given the responsibility to head various departments in a school. The management, staff, and students of HIE convey their best wishes to the newly elected Prefectural Body for the academic session 2024 – 25.
