Dear Parents and Students of HIE School

My name is Prabhavathi P.K and I am so excited to introduce myself as the Principal of Hyderabad Institute of Excellence, a prestigious institution known for its dedication to excellence and character building. It is an honour to be at the helm of this great institution and I look forward to many wonderful years of learning and growing with our amazing students, teachers, parents, and community members.

Over the past three decades, I have worked as a teacher and an administrator, but I consider my most important job to be that of being the greatest champion and guide for every child who walks trustingly through the gates of learning. I make it my mission to preserve their wide-eyed curiosity, teach them to fill their hearts with kindness and ensure that they are welcomed with open arms to their alma mater, for it shall always be their home. For me, there is no greater pleasure than getting to know the little ones and watching them grow and become the incredible people they are meant to be.

Albert Einstein, at the fag end of his life, when asked by a western journalist as to what life had taught him, gently replied: ‘Pay the closest attention to the curiosity of a child, for, in their amazing inquisitiveness may lie the astonishing key to some of the most baffling as well as enigmatic mysteries of the Universe. It’s our conviction that the intellectual, as well as the imaginative spirit of enquiry of a child, should take precedence to his academic brilliance. All our activities will be designed with this in mind. Whether we are learning in person or remotely at home, our goal is to encourage active student engagement to foster a lifetime love for learning.

As we plan for a beginning like no other we have seen in the past, our focus will be to ensure that every child is challenged by new experiences with their innate curiosity kindled and their uniqueness cherished and celebrated.

Once again, I am so thankful to have the opportunity to bring all that I have experienced and learned, with me to this wonderful school community.
